Baby clothing is different from toddler and children clothing in small, key ways. For example, newborn clothing is not priced by any sort of sizing system. You wouldn’t buy your new baby, or your friend’s new baby, a sized one sleeper or onesie, you would search based on the age and the weight of the child. You also shouldn’t spend too much money on clothing for very small babies, because chances are that the child will grow out of them within a matter of months. Some onesies can be quite expensive, depending on where you get them, and if they’re designer, personalized, organic, or anything along those lines. They can be upwards of thirty dollars a piece. But that’s more of the exception than the rule when it comes to this type of clothing. Like most things for babies, if you look hard enough and you’re diligent, you can find some quite spectacular sales, deals, and options for purchasing clothes for your baby.
If you have a friend who is expecting a child, and you want to know what to get them for the baby shower or just to make the parents’ lives a little easier, then you might want to look into different types of clothes for babies. Given how fast children grow, and how easy it is for them to spit up or otherwise stain and soil their clothes, than certain things like clothes and diapers will always be appreciated, because they’re practical. If you think the parent might want a certain type or brand, it never hurts to ask and verify.
