Infant Girls Clothing
A very long time ago, it was decided that all infant boys clothes should be blue, because blue was the color of good luck, prosperity, and the like. When it was time to decide what little girls should wear, people settled on pink—because it was a good compliment to blue. It had no larger meaning than that. Regardless of the motives for choosing these colors, people still associate them with babies, and as a result, a lot of infant girls clothing is pink. People even have an automatic, unconscious aversion to dressing their girls in blue, or putting their boys in pink. This is obviously a deep-seated tradition, and even a conviction, but what if you don’t like pink? What if you don’t necessarily believe that colors should be assigned to only one gender?
Fortunately, we’re no longer living in a place and an age where infant girls must wear a certain type of clothing, and infant boys another type of clothing. Infant clothing can be pink or blue, green or yellow, purple or orange. It can have solid colors, or it can feature a pretty print. It can have animals or flowers. It can even have footballs and other traditionally masculine items and interests! There is a huge variety in newborn girls apparel, and it is very exciting to go shopping for little girls and find the various options. Newborn girls items also come in a range of prices and sizes. You can also find dresses, skirts, or pants and little T-shirts. You can also find this type of clothing in different types of material, including all-organic or all-natural materials.
